We've added new activities and elements to our popular summer children’s program!
On most Wednesday mornings in July and August, children ages 4 to 9 can explore nature, farming, and flowers with our fun and interactive program. Each fun-filled session combines learning with a hands-on activity such as a craft, planting, or a game. Some weeks include tractor rides or visits with special guests from our farm team. Children can attend one session, several sessions, or all seven sessions.

Kids are accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult and our farm facilitator, Mikala Kelley. A member of the Moulton Farm team since 2017, Mikala has a degree in conservation and experience running outdoor education programs for kids in Maine and Massachusetts.
Having worked in every area of Moulton Farm except the farm’s kitchen, she’s adding new activities and elements to the farm’s popular summer children’s program.
“As the mother of two young children, I understand how curious kids are and how much they like exploring,” she says. “We’ll have different activities as part of each session, so there’s something to keep the kids engaged. I’ve got a few surprises planned that I’m sure will get kids laughing and asking questions.”
The Wednesday sessions start at 10:30 am, run approximately 90 minutes, and are held rain or shine. Each week will have a different theme. For a tentative schedule of topics and more details, and to purchase tickets, click here.
Each session costs $20 per child, or a season ticket can be purchased for $130, which covers all seven sessions in the series and includes a free t-shirt. There is no cost for the adult who accompanies the children. Purchasing tickets at least two days before a session is encouraged as space is limited. Season ticket holders are guaranteed a spot in each session.
