"We really didn’t know what to expect,” said Jeff Mills, general manager of Moulton Farm, about the recent fundraising collaboration between Moulton Farm and The Xavier Group.

 

"I can safely say that this was way beyond anything we imagined. The $9,028 raised  between our ticket sales for Mack-a-Palooza and the outpouring of donations from the community means more local students will get help with their college education from the scholarship bearing Mack’s name.”

 

“It was a fun night with laughter and community, but also a reminder of how mental health has long lasting ripple effects through a community."

“The event would not have been possible without the support and participation of so many people from the 18 vendors, many in-kind product donations, and the outstanding efforts of Rachel Xavier of The Xavier Group.  She was all in and key to helping us make this event be successful."

 

The MacKenzie “Mack” McNamara Scholarship benefits Inter-Lakes High School students who want to study agriculture, horticulture, the arts, or who have worked at Moulton Farm.  Mack, a graduate of Inter-Lakes High School and the University of New Hampshire, became the lead grower at Moulton Farm and played a key role in helping the Meredith farm grow until his untimely passing in 2019.
