News about 2024 and Christmas at our farm

This is the time of year to be thankful for what we all have, and at our farm, it is no different. We have an incredible team whose talent, hard work, and dedication made this year run as smoothly as possible under the always changing and challenging conditions here at the farm.

It is due to our team that we are opening in mid-February for our 2024 season, albeit just Thursdays through Saturdays until spring. This means you will be able to enjoy our food and the fresh seafood from Sal’s Fresh Seafood an entire month earlier than last year. To get you through the six weeks we’ll be closed, be sure to place your stock-up orders with us and with Sal’s.

Before we head off for our January break, Christmas has taken center stage at our farm. We have locally grown Fraser and Balsam Trees from tabletop to 12’ tall. Partnering with Glove Hollow of Plymouth and The Rocks Farm in Bethlehem again gives us trees that are cut fresh for us right before we pick them up.

Our farm elves have been busy making and decorating wreaths and kissing balls. From fun shapes such as snowflakes, candy canes, and hearts to wreaths four feet wide, you'll find the perfect wreath. Or ask us to make a custom wreath for your home or business.

Speaking of elves, join us for our Christmas open house on Sunday, December 17, from 11 to 2. Come inside our festive farm market for some holiday food sampling and a free hot chocolate bar provided by the Xavier Realty Group. Santa arrives by tractor at 11 and will be in our greenhouse until 1 visiting with children of all ages. There’s no charge for this event, and it’s a great time for you to take those adorable holiday pictures.

Christmas will be here quicker than you think, so get your orders in for a Christmas turkey or a smoked ham, pies, yule logs, cookies, special breads, and side dishes. See our holiday menu here, If you’re having a party or family gathering, we offer pick-up catering to make it an easy and tasty event. See our catering menu here. We will be closing for Christmas at 3 pm on December 24 and re-opening at 8 am on December 26. We close for our winter break at 3 pm on December 31.
