About the Event
What is key to having a garden that produces a good harvest or lots of flowers?
According to John Moulton, owner of Moulton Farm, “There are a lot of factors that can affect your garden. Even the best plants, perfect location, and reasonably good weather won’t be enough if you don’t focus on some key things early in the gardening season.”
Starting at 10 am on Saturday, April 23, find out what John recommends and ask questions at our free “Gardens with Good Beginnings” workshop. John will share his years of experience growing vegetables and discuss what to focus on and what not to do to give your garden the best chance of producing well this year.
“What you do early in the season can make an important difference in how well your plants deal with pests and our sometimes challenging weather conditions,” John says. “Many issues can be greatly reduced by doing things differently when your plants are quite young, or even before you put plants or seeds into your garden.”
This is a free workshop suitable for gardeners of all experience levels.
Registration is not required, but doing so will help us prepare for the event.
