About the Event

To help Lakes Region home gardeners have more success with their vegetable gardens, this is one of several free gardening workshops at our farm.

In "Early and Late Season Vegetable Growing," John Moulton, owner of Moulton Farm, shares how to get more food from your garden by growing vegetables early in the spring and later into the fall. This workshop is for both new and experienced gardeners.

During the workshop, John will discuss soil temperatures and why they matter, light, vegetables and varieties to consider, when to start seeds, transplant timing, ways to protect your plants from the weather, and more. The session will also include time to ask questions.

The workshop is free and intended for new and experienced gardeners. You must pre-register for the workshop as space is limited. Do this by clicking the "sign up" button on this page, visiting our farm market, or calling us…
