Thank you to the volunteers from the Meredith Altrusa Program and the Community Food Center for helping us get some of our produce to our neighbors in need.
Each week during the summer and early fall, Meredith Altrusa volunteers pick up produce from the farm and deliver it to local programs and food pantries serving our neighbors in need.
We’re also pleased to have been working with the Community Food Center in Tamworth. The center serves residents of Tamworth and Sandwich. A group of 30 or so volunteers works with 50 to 60 families. On a typical week in these challenging times about 20 families have been picking up food. More information about the Community Food Center can be obtained by calling 603-960-4067.
