Old Farm Days will be a wagon load of fun

Horse drawn wagon rides, tractor displays and working steer demonstrations will be just part of the fun at our “Old Farm Days” on Saturday, October 21, and Sunday, October 22, from 10 am to 3 pm.

Brandy Thomas will put Maverick and Goose, a pair of working steers, through their paces in demonstrations at 10 am and 1 pm. The Meredith Historical Society and the New Hampshire Humane Society will both be at the farm with displays and volunteers to answer questions.

The fun will continue on Sunday more free horse drawn wagon rides and with music from Steve Kelley. Everett Bailey, a master maker of Shaker brooms, demonstrating how he makes Shaker style brooms. Volunteers from the Meredith Historical Society will also be back at the farm with their display.

On both days other fun activities will include our tractor display including John’s 1946 Ford 2N tractor, free tractor rides 10 am until 3 pm to and from our “pick your own” pumpkin patch, pumpkin related games, food sampling, and the opportunity to get creative using the farm’s pumpkin decorating stand. The farm’s corn maze will also be open. Activities are free of charge, although there will be a charge for entry to the farm’s corn maze.
