The Program: Have you ever wanted to have a small garden, but can’t seem to find the time to get the area prepared or do you just not have enough room to make it all work?  We have the solution! Moulton Farm will offer (20) plots of garden space that are 400 sq ft.  This area will be your designated area for the season to plant what items you wish.  These areas can be purchased by a single person, a family, school group or other groups! This is a great way to experience first hand why growing local is so important and what is involved in getting those wonderful and healthy vegetables to the dinner table.  We will sell you all your starter plants and other gardening items at a 10% discount for this plot only.  We are also offering a unique add on that you can choose to be part of. It’s called the Produce for the People Program.” This is when you agree that you will plant one row of your plot with a variety of vegetables which you will then grow, harvest and donate to a local food kitchen of your choice. We will offer you the plot at a 25% discount rate if you choose to take part in this “Produce for the People Program” The cost of the plot will be $125.00 and is a “First Come First Serve Basis” because we have limited plots available this season!  If you choose to be apart of the “Produce for the People Program the cost would be $93.75.

What We Will Do:

  1. We will till and organically fertilize the entire area so it is ready for planting by May 15th.
  2. We will have a water line set in place for access to water.
  3. We will provide a few hand tools for weeding and other projects.
  4. As always we will provide free knowledgeable advice on your garden plot and plant selection.
  5. The plots will be flagged off and numbered for each site.
  6. We will provide you with cardboard boxes when it’s time to harvest the produce.

What You Need To Do:

  1. You will need to sign up and reserve your plot of land.
  2. You will be responsible for maintaining your garden. “We will not take care of your plot.” You may come to work on your garden any time while the farm is open. (7 days a week).
  3. We would like everyone to use “Organic sprays or fertilizers if needed!”
  4. You will need to choose a selection of plants for your plot.
  5. Water your plot as you feel it’s needed.
